During days of heavy rain, water surrounded my home threatening damage. When the rain stopped and the sun reappeared the waters gradually receded. One day I playfully tossed small stones into puddles that remained. The transparent and reflective surface of the water became both lens and mirror transforming the way I experienced my surroundings.
In 2023 four of these images were selected by Christopher Rauschenberg
and included in the exhibit “WET: Reflections on Water”
at Northwind Art’s Jeanette Best Gallery, Port Townsend, WA.
